Bad Blogger

If any of you out there are still checking in on my blog from time to time, you’ve surely become accustomed to the disappointment of seeing the same old post. I’m sorry for being such a bad blogger. :( People have even been e-mailing me to ask if I'm back in the States! (no, not till August 8)

So what have I been up to lately? It has actually been a rather busy summer so far. I finished the school year at the university where I teach first-year engineering students with two mornings of group presentations. They’d spent the semester in groups, doing in-depth research about various engineering companies, and each group gave a 30-minute PowerPoint presentation. They were interesting, but with ten groups, it took me a while to read each one’s 30+ page report.

My one-on-one adult classes are continuing as usual into the summer, but as certain classes wrap up, I have more and more free time. People don’t want to start classes in the summer; they prefer to wait till September. So I’ve got more and more free time. (Time I could be using to blog ... I know.)

I’ve also had the opportunity to do some exciting traveling, in and out of France. So I’m vowing to keep the updates coming. Keep checking back, and I promise to catch up on recent events.
